If you ask me what I love most about my job, it isn't choosing paint colours or finding the perfect light fixture (although I do love those things!). It's getting to know the people who will call the space home.
Before founding By Jennifer Reid in 2005, I spent several years as a television reporter and anchor, telling people's stories. Looking back, I realize that hasn't changed. Today, I simply tell those stories through thoughtfully designed homes.
For more than 20 years, I've been helping families create spaces that are beautiful, functional, and designed around the way they really live. As a mom of four and a lifelong dog lover, I understand that homes aren't showpieces—they're where life happens. They're meant for busy mornings, family dinners, celebrations, muddy paws, and everything in between.
My approach is simple: I listen first. Every client, every family, and every home is different. By taking the time to understand your lifestyle, your goals, and what matters most to you, I create spaces that feel authentic, timeless, and uniquely yours.
I believe the design process should feel just as enjoyable as the finished result. That's why my team and I handle every detail with creativity, organization, and care—making the experience exciting instead of overwhelming.

After living in Australia, Ally returned with a fresh perspective and an appreciation for relaxed, livable design. Her love of design started young, renovating her childhood dollhouse one tiny room at a time. Today, that same curiosity and creativity shine through in every home she helps create.
Cindy Delio - The Numbers Expert Who Keeps Us Organized
Bookkeeper
Behind every successful project is a well-organized team, and Cindy helps keep ours running smoothly. As our bookkeeper, she brings a love of numbers, an eye for detail, and a calm, dependable approach that keeps everything on track behind the scenes.
A lifelong Mississauga resident, Cindy is deeply connected to her community and enjoys volunteering whenever she can. Outside of work, you'll most often find her in the kitchen trying new recipes for family and friends or cheering on her three children as they pursue their goals.
Cindy's appreciation for beautiful homes, combined with her passion for finance and organization, makes her an invaluable part of the By Jennifer Reid team.
